Matriculants confident of achieving good results

Though overwhelmed with anxiety and nervousness St Francis College matriculants are confident that they will make the school proud ahead of the matric national examinations. They will begin with their final lap at the high school level with English Paper 1 on Wednesday the 26th of October. This year the school has 112 matriculants who will be sitting for their final examinations.

The general feeling of learners who spoke to SFC News said they feel great responsibility and that pressure is on them to do well in the forthcoming examinations. They said that they need to emulate the previous classes that have continuously kept the school flag flying high by scooping 100% pass rate year after year.

The matriculants also said that they are prepared for the examinations, saying that throughout their study years the school has prepared them academically and holistically.

Ayanda Ntombela, the school head boy, said what they need at this moment is to remain focused and avoid unnecessary stress. “Genuine character, discipline and prayer is what we need, and these the school has instilled in us”.
