Our History
Since 1909, St Francis’, an Independent Catholic Secondary school, offers quality education within a rich historical context. We have a successful academic record, achieving a matric pass rate of 100% for over 30 years in a row.
About St Francis' College
St. Francis’ College (Mariannhill Secondary Independent School) is a Catholic school with boarding facilities situated in the scenic Mariannhill area of KwaZulu-Natal. Established in 1909 by Abbot Francis Pfanner, St. Francis’ has a rich historical background and numerous academic achievements.
Highlights
Sporting Activities
The school is involved in various sporting codes (Soccer, Volleyball, Netball, and Rugby at district level and provincial level competitions). Apart from its involvement in these competitions the school organizes every year a sport day where everyone (Learners, Educators) takes part.
